Branywine Grace

Kenny Lynch wakes up to shave his face
And then he began his epic race
to go to the morning service at Brandywine Grace
Set up was about to be done
and the fun had almost begun
The band went on stage
to worship the Son who forgave
The congregation began to praise
the God who had saved
the sinners of this age
The small children bailed out
as Kenny Lynch began to preach about
Jonah, in the belly of a whale
As the service concluded
the thought had eluded our minds
to pick up the children
who felt disincluded
We got all the kiddos
who played sharks and minnows
The adults fellowshipped
as the kids did flips
We remembered the Sundays we had before
but now we realized we wanted more
at Brandywine Grace
our new favorite place
